{"id":1554,"date":"2024-08-16T16:37:12","date_gmt":"2024-08-16T16:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/daily-bullet.com\/?p=1554"},"modified":"2024-08-16T16:37:12","modified_gmt":"2024-08-16T16:37:12","slug":"interested-in-becoming-editor-of-special-warfare-magazine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/daily-bullet.com\/?p=1554","title":{"rendered":"Interested in Becoming Editor of \u201cSpecial Warfare\u201d Magazine?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"post-239505\">\n<h2>Interested in Becoming Editor of \u201cSpecial Warfare\u201d Magazine?<\/h2>\n<div class=\"entry\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/soldiersystems.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_7370.jpeg\" data-slb-active=\"1\" data-slb-asset=\"1574941309\" data-slb-internal=\"0\" data-slb-group=\"239505\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applications are currently being accepted for one of the Army\u2019s newest broadening opportunity programs \u2013 The Major General Edwin \u201cForrest\u201d Harding Fellowship.<\/p>\n<p>The Harding Fellowship is a competitive 36-month program consisting of a one-year accelerated master\u2019s degree program at the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas for active component captains, non-commissioned officers in the grade of E-8, and warrant officers in the grade of CW4. Upon completion, Fellows will then serve as editors-in-chief for the branch journals at their respective center of excellence for a two-year term. <\/p>\n<p>The Harding Fellowship produces leaders who strengthen the Army profession with their deep expertise in branch matters and superior communications skills. Given the two-year editor term, the Harding Fellowship alternates eligible branches by year. <\/p>\n<p>In FY25, Special Forces, Psychological Operations and Civil Affairs branch personnel may apply for utilization as editor-in-chief of \u201cSpecial Warfare\u201d at Fort Liberty, NC.<\/p>\n<p>They are now accepting applications for the second group of fellows.
